Faith Focus Community

Faith Focus Community Development Corporation has been providing supportive services (as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) to the Greater Plant City community since 2012.  Currently, we provide nutritional assistance for over 1,500 families and individuals per quarter through our food pantry, open every first and third Saturday of each month.  Our goal is to provide education services, community outreach activities, and referral services to community members who wouldn’t otherwise have access to them. We partner with Feeding America and Metropolitan Ministries to provide toys, holiday meals (e.g. whole turkeys), and other items to aid families in need.  Also, the founders purchase non-United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) food items (i.e. fruit drinks, snacks, etc.) and some toiletries to distribute in the community. 

Faith Focus CDC plans to extend our services to provide breads, produce, and other frozen items. Because our client base has expanded, we are in need of new equipment to realize our plans. We would also like to properly store refrigerated items such as produce and breads to distribute to community member, for which we need an industrial sized refrigerator. 

Need community service hours? Faith Focus CDC can help. We welcome volunteers to assist in food distribution. Volunteers need only complete an application and attend a brief 1.5 hour orientation. All are welcomed to help us serve our community!
